Our lab seeks to understand aspects of learning to read and ways that development can be meaningfully shaped by the careful selection of language and print experiences in order to push the learner’s knowledge towards a given objective. This research is conducted through a combination of behavioral, computational, and corpus-based methods, primarily oriented towards early reading development (birth to grade 3).
